Ideas Positive is the country’s premier youth engagement program for healthier communities. Established in 2012, Ideas Positive engages the youth to create innovative solutions for public health issues in communities. Now on its ninth run, Ideas Positive continues to give the youth a platform to pitch and implement sustainable and innovative solutions that can impact communities across the Philippines and beyond.

In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Ideas Positive encourages submission of proposals on: Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing, HIV and other STDs/STIs, Non-communicable and Lifestyle Related Diseases, Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, Diseases Related to Urbanization (accidents, road safety, pollution), Health of
Elderly, Health of Persons with Disabilities, Water Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH) Nutrition, and Neglected Tropical Diseases (dengue, chikungunya, etc.).
Successful teams will be given the chance to join a three-day, all-expenses-paid Boot Camp, where they will be able to meet like-minded individuals and to learn from experts in the field of health, community development, project management, and communication. Additionally, seed money of up to PHP100,000 will be given to successful teams for the implementation of their program. At the end of the six-month implementation period, teams will get the chance to win
additional cash prizes, trophies, and more opportunities build healthier communities.
The submission of entries is open from November 1 to 15, 2018.
